Dimana Rankova was elected deputy chairperson in charge of the Investment Supervision Activity with a 6-year term of office.
She was born on April 13, 1970.
She graduated the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridsky, where she majored in Law.
In 1995 - 1996 she was assistant judge at the Sofia Regional Court as well as a probationer at a legal firm.
From 1996 to 2001 she worked at the Commission on securities and stock exchanges as chief expert in the Legal Department. Later she became chief expert and head of the Regulatory Framework Department of the State Securities Commission.
From May 11, 2001 to March 12, 2003 she was a member of the State Securities Commission.
From March 12, 2003 she is a deputy chairperson of the Financial Supervision Commission, in charge of the Investment Supervision Division.
She is a lecturer at the New Bulgarian University.
